About Me.

Hello, I’m Jordan and welcome to my portfolio. So, where should I begin?

My interest in creative media started at a very young age, which was most likely sparked by my intense love for film and TV series - especially Harry Potter, Pokémon and Scooby-Doo. All I wanted to do was to make content.

I played around with photography since I was child, but never really took it seriously until I was 18 when I got my first DSLR, a Nikon D3200. I would spend days upon days just travelling around, taking photos of anything and everything.

An early example from when I first starting taking Photography seriously.

I got some good photos, I got some bad photos - and especially at events such as Comic-con, I got some very interesting photos. I realised early on that I wanted to make something of my photography, that I wanted to learn how to do things perfectly and professionally: so I enrolled back into college to get started.

After I left college with my Level 3 in Photography, I continued taking my camera everywhere with me, capturing photo's along the way. Still, I wanted to do something more. I wanted to get into Videography, just like when I was a kid.

I dabbled about with taking video, editing and generating computer graphics for my videos but I lacked subjects to create interesting content with - until I landed a job at Crimson Guitars, where I worked initially as an apprentice before progressing on to be a full time member of staff after just over a year.

Whilst at Crimson, I have spearheaded a number of projects and tasks, such as:

  - Near doubling our Instagram Follower count in six weeks (from 12K - 21K)

  - Overhauling the weekly "What's On The Bench?" videos, to good reception

  - Designing multiple, well-selling merchandise items

  - Streamlining our editing process

  - Creating a fun, engaging and well-received editing style and video format (which helped to boost views, video watch time and engagement)

In addition to my work at Crimson, I also work freelance and undertake numerous personal projects, which you can see throughout this website.

I'm always open to working with new people, on new projects, with new themes and with different visions; so should you be interested in undertaking some work or collaborating on a project - please get in touch!
